How long does it take to get Alarm notification in Fordpass after being triggered?

For me, I get the alarm while I'm walking back to the truck, 5-10 minutes later. Or the time we were at dinner and someone backed into it, never got a notification. I'm sure it depends a lot to do with cell coverage, but the trip this weekend, was inside Wendy's when my dog set it off (forgot to set to perimeter mode). So when I came back out, it was just timing out. I get in and start the truck, then get the notification about the alarm triggered. Well, thanks for that, but I'd like to go out and catch someone red-handed so I can beat them to death. If I wanted to know after the fact, I'd just find out when I find out.

Mine was triggered by a moth twice one evening and I recieved notification immediately. I was close enough to hear the horn at the time.

Maybe the alarm never went off when it was backed into. I thought these trucks had a shock sensor but I've read other wise.

I've had some hit or miss issues with remote access. Woke up one morning to an alert my alarm was triggered at 12:25AM (thunder) yet last week a skid loader running back and forth by my truck kept setting off the alarm but I got no notifications from that. I know it's not FordPass but it's the same shock sensing system! So who knows.

So they do have a shock sensor? This was brought up in another thread and it was said that the alarm will only go off by motion detection in the cab, a window being broken or a door being opened.

I think maybe the cover on my phone, and the fact that it is also in my pocket, and I'm inside a building, maybe just not getting a strong enough signal on the phone. I noticed yesterday where we were camping, the guy next to me was able to connect to the tower for calls and data, but I wasn't. Removed my cover, and bam, everything woke up. I'll give it a test here in the driveway with optimal conditions to see how it works. Sure would have been nice to catch that guy that did the hit and run though. Dually fender needs to be ordered, painted tri-coat platinum white, and installed. I'm out a deductible, but knowing body shops, it's probably $2,000 just to attach the part after it's painted. Haven't gotten the estimate yet.

Yep, definitely has a tilt sensor, as I found out late one night in the campground when we kept the trailer hitched up but raised the tongue slightly to level it.

Can you install a shock sensor on these trucks as well.
