After going back and forth thinking about it for a year or so, I decided it was time.
My truck was nothing short of outstanding. Never once did it leave me stranded, or give me any headache. Even when I lost the transmission in a blizzard, I was able to limp home 20 miles away. All of this made the decision the most difficult I've ever had to make for a vehicle. Even hurt me somewhat.. So why sell it? Winters here suck! I can't tell you how much I'd cringe every time I would crawl under the truck to work on it. The rust was destroying the exhaust manifolds, engine block, oil pan etc.. to the point of serious concern, and there was nothing I could do about it. Plowing snow with it really did a number on it.
Anyways, my needs have changed since owning my F350. Wife, two little ones and no time for anything other than snowmobiles or atv's. Nothing heavy to tow around for a few years now. I opted for a change this time and decided to go with a F150 Eco-Boost. Thank you guys for all your help.
Thank you Gents again for the well wishes and the unbelievable help I got here. I don't think anyone knows their trucks as well as a lot of the 6.0 guys we got on here. This Eco-boost is quite... Too quiet!
I hear theres a lot of power to unlock out of that Eco-boost if done right. Also they are super durable. check out the pics of the test mule engine that Ford tore down at the Detroit international auto show... looked brand new inside (with the exception of some carbon build up in the exhaust manifolds lol)
