Heater Ducts??

Anyone know where I can buy heater ducts for under the dash? I just bought a 1977 Ford F-150, 351M V8, and its missing the ducts under the dash. I've got a 1973 Ford F-100 that have the ducts but not sure if they will just swap over or not. I've called National Parts Depot and they said these parts aren't made anymore. I'm in the Kansas City, MO area if anyone is parting one out.

Thanks

Wish you would have posted Wed! I just sent what was left a truck (78") I parted out to the scrap yard yesterday and it had a whole duct system in it.

Does your truck have A/C or are you just looking for the defroster ducting. Ducts from any year 73-79 should swap over. Only difference would be is that some trucks have flexible ducts and others have hard plastic, but both would swap. The center duct if you have A/C is flexible in all factory A/C trucks.

Most people don't think about keeping things like that. Too bad.

I guess I should have posted this when I bought my truck vs waiting till I work on it. Time to go through my truck and see what I need and make a list.

I have the flexible portion which goes over to the drivers side and I also have the part that goes up to the defroster vents. I don't have everything in between and what attaches to the firewall. Hope this helps. Sounds like I need to do the junk yard dog work again. Will any truck from 73'-79' work? For example, a F-250 or F-350?

My truck does have a/c but its been disconnected. I have the compressor and everything just some of the hoses have been cut. I was told since the a/c hoses have been cut that I will probably need all new, does anyone have a different idea on this or was this mechanic right?

This is an awesome forum, post a question and get responses asap!

Thanks

Yes, anything from 73-79 F100, F150, F250, F350 will work. You might find some that have had dealer A/C added on and those would be different, but anything factory will swap over. Even 78-79 Broncos will work too.

This is the best pic I have. On the bottom right you can see the middle flexible ducting that will attach to the middle two vents and there is the elbow piece for the drivers vent there too. Not pictured is the vent ducting for the passenger vent, but you can see what all is under the dash in a factory A/C truck.

that gives me a better idea vs looking up under my dash or looking through the glove box. But I need everything to the right of the flex pipe in the middle and to the firewall.

I'm checking out the parts part of the forum and finding just about everything.

Thanks

Was going thru the "classified's" and ChaseTruck754 has a duct work assembly. You may want to drop him a line and see if he still has it. Maybe this will help?

I found everything already, except for the flexible piece that goes from the defroster vent to the main body duct.

Thanks

I don't know if this helps or not but this is a view of a truck without AC.

Sorry to hijack in this thread, but I see you've had your cab completely apart. I posted a thread and no one responded to it, so thought maybe since you've done such an extensive teardown, you might be able to help. Here's the thread I started here.
