I need help with trying to find a part number or a pats store that carriers the gaskets and O ring for this model carb. I can find the filter but I cant find the gasket or oring that go with the filter. The filter I'm talking about is the internal carb filter that is like a rock material. The parts stores have all the screw on ones so I'm thinking this is how they want it to go now days. I just need the gaskets and o ring. Anyone know where to get this or what its under so I can check around?

 

If you want the original Holley sintered bronze fuel filter Jegs has it in stock. Holley p/n 162-500 $12.99 (ouch). It includes the filter and gaskets.

 

Thank you! what would be best though for me to do away with this set up and put an inline filter in or get what the other part stores show for a 79 350 with 460?

 

Just my opinion but I'd do away with the filter you have and plumb in a standard inline filter, especially if you're having fuel crud issues. 1, they're easy to get. 2, they're cheap. 3, they are much larger and have much more filtering capacity.
The 460 filter is relatively small and a lot of stores would probably have to order it.
