i'm in the middle of replacing my intake manifold gaskets. ofcourse i disconnected the fuel line(s) and the auto parts stores don't know what to tell me for replacing the o rings on the fuel line disconnect/end.
what o rings do i need to replace the exisiting ones and is there a proper technical term for them so i can tell the parts people what to look for....i'm used to the carbureted stuff so this is kinds new to me. i tried the search feature and surprisingly didn't find an exact answer to this even though i'm sure it's been asked a bazillion times.....thanks

Welcome to FTE
Hmm...what O-rings does it take?
I dunno either, cuz you failed to mention the year / enginesize / model of the truck you're working on.
There are literally dozens of different fuel line O-rings.
Pal-eeze, when asking questions, give all the pertinent information.
Give me all the info, I'll list the Ford O-ring part numbers, the prices and availability.
whoooops...yeah some additional info may help... it is a 92 f 150 supercab 4x4 originally 302 with a 91 351w in it...(although i doubt the engine change matters...) thanks
I've been lucky so far and have never needed to replace an o ring, even when I had to spray the heck out of a garter spring to get it to release. Now that I think of it, I prolly should have as the PB lube prolly made the o ring break down over time.
