Will get test result of ignition module tomorrow.

Alright, here is one of your problems.

White/light blue wire: 0V in start(continuity-ohm meter), 0V in Run(continuity-ohm meter)
White/Lt. Blue wire should have 12V in run. Not having voltage in run is why it's not starting.

You now need to go in the cab and confirm that you have power coming out of the ignition switch at the Red/Light Green wire with the truck in run.

If you do have power there at the red/light green wire at the ignition switch connector. You then need to check the white/Lt.Blue wire, all the way from the DS-II connector, back into the cab, to where it splices into the Red/Light Green wire between the ignition switch and the resistor. This may involve removing the harness wrapping.

If you do not have power at the Red/Light green wire at the ignition switch connector, ignition switch in run. You need a new ignition switch, or the old one is severly out of adjustment on the column.

Back again.

I left the ignition module at an automotive electrician, for testing., called him today and got the answer that the module is dead.
When byuing a new one, I can get Motorcraft 160 dollars and Standard Motor 80 dollars, here in Sweden, is there a big difference in quality and performance between these two?

I checked the red/light green wire at the ignition switch and there is 12V. Where this wire connects to the ignition switch, the white/light blue wire does too !? This at point 4 for ignition switch (picture) in Haynes wire diagram 81-83 F-series.

Have not followed the red/light green wire to where it splices in to the white/light green wire.

At the truck side connector by the ignition module there is 12V between white/light blue wire and distributer base, in run.

When following the + coil red wire back to connector by ignition switch, it changes color to brown/purple and after some inches further back( in engine room) splits up to brown/purple-pink/white(or tan). This pink/white wire is thicker and softer than the brown/purple and I can't find it in the wiring diagram. Can this be the ballast resistor?
