Ya, i've seen this quite a bit. Mostly in older trucks with big tires or wore out steering components. Usually its the steering stabilizer or even the rubber bushings on either end of the stabilizer shock have wore out or fell out completely.

I had a minor one but after I installed my dual steering stabilizer, it went away completely. (rough country)
