VGT backplate torque?
does anyone know what the torque value is for the four (4) M8 bolts that hold the compressor back plate onto the CHRA?
Side Note:
I think for the outside housing's six bolts is 23 Nm. and may be the same but I just want to be sure.

Would these help? Standard torque for bolt sizes are on the second one.

I'm hoping to get someone to chime in regarding the specific torque values on the backplate and maybe a bonus if it needs red locktite but other than that, I'm currently going through the cleaning/reconditioning process that's posted for the 6.0
What a messy job, I got more chunks of turbo goo on my clothes, on the floor, and up my nose that I'm DONE for the day!
Oh, remember going to the dentist getting your teeth cleaned? well that plaque that he removes is exactly what "coking" is all about. It's a nightmare to get rid of it, and it's all over the inside of the turbo.

Benchwrench, Looking at the charts, I was thinking that if torque values were specific, it would be listed individually in the list.
If not, then the standard value for any other M8 bolt would be:
Hex Flange Head:
M8 x 1.25 = 18 lbf/ft or 24 Nm
Hex Head:
M8 x 1.25 = 15 lbf/ft or 20 Nm
Those are the standard torque value for those bolts. I'm not sure if they would be any different.
That's how I understand these torque charts. Maybe someone will chime in with another answer.
