On my truck I am having trouble starting in the morning around 40 degrees. I am getting the romps and ALOT of white smoke. I tested the gpr today and have battery voltage on the always hot post. But when I turn the key on I get no power to the other large post. I figured this out because I did the gpr led mod today. I am assuming that I should just go ahead and upgrade to the stancor beefed up gpr. Is this all that needs replacing.
Agree. I changed my GPR about a few weeks ago. Busy weekend this weekend (i got pics and write ups to post tomorrow) but I too am going to ohm the GPs so i can change any if needed. VERY Easy job. If you use anything other then Stancor DO NOT crank down on the big pots very tight. They will RIP right out! (Prob that you will find caused yours to fail, I did)
