I got a 2012 with a little over 100k miles and my truck was in shop for ~1 hour to get a emissions recall performed in the form of a flash. Great fuel economy, second to none towing performance, no oil leaks, used as a daily driver.... Wait a minute how could this be I have a 6.7 Power Stroke. Carry on boys! Someone must have ego problems if they feel they need to come to a 6.2 thread and justify their paying an extra 8500 for their truck. All I can say is drive with confidence knowing your truck is out of warranty, and your cost of repair could be more than a 6.2 crate motor from a bad batch of fuel. Maybe you have deep pockets and don't care. I would own a 6.7 in a heartbeat if that was what I truly needed, but the fact is I don't, and I'm honestly glad I don't.

Just ignore them, they'll either go away, or they'll get stuck on the side of the road with no cell service and can't get on FTE

Just had the throttle body replaced on my 2016. Power was down. Tech diagnosed the issue pretty quickly so it may be a known (to Ford) issue. Here is the original thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...10k-miles.html

Just to validate my earlier statement. So glad I don't need a diesel.

Sorry, I don't know how to post the link when using the app.

My diesel has been a pure joy to own and drive. At 100k miles it still puts that big grin on my face to this very day.

Awesome about the Scorpion it is a great motor in a great truck, I doubt you would say the same thing if it was a Dodge/Ram/Fiat with all the recalls, weak front end and endless problems.

You should post in the diesel section. Why post about your 6.7 in the 6.2 forum?

Because if he hangs out in the 6.7 forum, he will have to read about the expensive issues, and have to think about them all the time. In the 6.2 section, he can read about reliable ford trucks.

Yah that little post he shared about the engineers tearing down a high mileage 6.7 is funny. It's like one went 'so looong' with only minor repairs that the engineers have to get their hands on it to tear it down to see what went right.

Trolllolololola.
