John, I don't know which ignition switch you have, as there are two possibles.
1961/66: The original switch (C3AZ11572A-Auto-Lite SW353) had three connectors.
In 1967, Ford obsoleted this switch, replaced it with another (C7UZ11572A~Auto-Lite/Motorcraft SW583)) that has four connectors for use as a service part replacement.
The C3AZ11572A switch was also used on 1960/64 Passenger Cars, 1965 Falcon/Fairlane, 1965/66 Mustang and 1966 Bronco.
The 1961/66 replacement switch (C7UZ11572A) is correct for 1967 Econolines & 1967/77 Bronco's.
The bezel, ignition cylinder and other ignition switch attaching parts are the same for either switch.
Bill are there any images anywhere. I was thinking there were 4 wires that went inside through the wall and 4 others on the post. I can verify tomorrow.
