That just means there not metal to metal and the calipers are working correctly.

You should be able to see how much pad is left with out pulling the wheel.

Doing good, got the Excursion inspected and the Expy cleaned up. Tomorrow need to change the oil on the Expy as my wife is driving again since we sold her car.
