we only had 84 inches total last winter. maybe we will get 100 inches this yr. the snowblower is ready to go.

I can't use a blower out here - gravel driveways aren't kind to the inner auger workings.

This is true...lol. We had a blower when I was in high school and it kept shearing off pins in the augers since we had a gravel drive. Pain in the neck. I do wish I had an old Gravely walk-behind though...that thing was beast. Pushed anything so long as you could hold onto it.

I always try to keep at least 2 replacement shear pins on hand just in case. if the snowblower breaks down I do have the old manual backup which is a snow shovel. if I cant use that I pull out the garden hose and hose the walk down.
