we didn't get all that much last year, it all went south of us!

 

I had 3 feet at one point. That was entirely too much...even for being an unemployed stiff last winter.

 

All right now were talking three feet of SNOW........

 

we only had 84 inches total last winter. maybe we will get 100 inches this yr. the snowblower is ready to go.

 

I can't use a blower out here - gravel driveways aren't kind to the inner auger workings.

 

Sure they are, do it at night and you'll have a light show!

This is true...lol. We had a blower when I was in high school and it kept shearing off pins in the augers since we had a gravel drive. Pain in the neck. I do wish I had an old Gravely walk-behind though...that thing was beast. Pushed anything so long as you could hold onto it.

LOL I have a box of replacement shear pins...!

 

I always try to keep at least 2 replacement shear pins on hand just in case. if the snowblower breaks down I do have the old manual backup which is a snow shovel. if I cant use that I pull out the garden hose and hose the walk down.
