I keep it up because a.) I don't care to fall on my backside getting to my truck and b.) it's all downgrade onto the road, which is an accident waiting to happen even with a 4x4. I just keep enough cleared up for me to maneuver...the rest can do as they see fit.

sounds like me bill. I keep my sidewalk and my one neighbors sidewalk cleared in the winter. I let the county take care of the street.

I love the snow, last year all I shoveled was my walk and patio, the parking area I just drove over and flattened it. I took pictures with my phone but didn't post them. If I ever take them from the phone I'll put them up.
Right now I'm watching the Phillies fight for their playoff life. Going into the ninth inning and the Giants are ahead one run. I'm searching every drawer in the house for whatever talisman I have that may put the bad mojo on San Francisco. I'm also scanning the net for prayers in every religion known to man, you never know what works.
I figure if I scream loud enough at the TV they may hear me at the stadium and follow my advice.
