Well it will not resart
I cleaned fuel pressure regulator valve now fuel pressure is 52 psi
Plugged truck in for couple hrs still no start
HPOP pressure is all over the place every time I try to start now I am 475 PSI. I am going to remove IPR and check if screen is gone or damaged
cylinders 1357 on right bank and 2468 on left bank and 1,3,4,6,8 were cold when I did have engine trying to run
Is the best way to find out to just swap in another known good one in the field?
That is my conclusion! I now have a spare FICM and travel with it on trips out of town (knowing someone w/ a spare is a better solution financially than having a spare BTW).
Removed IPR (what fun) screen is concaved in and I see small pieces of metal imbedded into the screen. I assume there is a procedure to deadhead test HPOP does anyone know it
Thanks everyone for all the great help found HPOP pump bad in process of replacing. One more question is truck has 160,000 mile on it and has never had a EGR cooler going past it for pump should I test and reuse if good or replace it?
