One year later.

This week one year ago I bought my 2000 PSD with 216k on the clock. Since then I and my fiance have put about 12,000 miles on it with no major problems with the engine or the truck for that matter. The week before i bought my truck it was only a dream and a thought that I would only own my own PSD. I didnt find my truck it found me, it seemed to good to be true, a diesel at a great price $6200!!! and payment I could afford at that. The first issue I dealt with was the accelator pedal giving me problems, easy fix...replaced the pedal assembly. You can see all the mods I have done my signature over the course of a year along with replacing all the tierods, and new tires. two front end alingment pre and post leveling kit. I would like to extend huge thanks to all the FTE members on this great forum, and just to spot light a select few for there help and always answering my phone calls is Clay of Riffraff diesel performance, and Robin (Payson PSD) espically to Robin who has helped me install most of my mods that i bought from Clay lol...To both of you gentlemen I send out a very important thank you to you both. I have more mods and things i really would like to do to my truck its just money and time, that seem to always get in the way...lol. Future mods include new sticks, a DP tuner, exhaust, and replacing the short bed with a flatbed. Along with so much more. Sorry for writing so much, and once agian want to extend a big THANK YOU to the FTE family.

Great to see a happy FTE member! Kudos to the two gentlemen you mentioned as they are always on the forefront of helping members out! You've done well for yourself and have a nice truck you can be proud of. And, your a pretty valuable member of the community as well!

I know how you feel.....I still remember when I went to the dealer to pick mine up. When I'm driving around with my wife, at least once I'll kinda shake the steering wheel and say "I love my truck"; she just rolls her eyes and laughs.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. After driving the Co. truck back & forth to work when we go anyplace in my truck I'll look over at the wife & say dam I like how this drives. It never gets old but kinda goofy I guess.

Is your bed in good shape and are you looking to get rid of it? Been looking for a white short bed in better shape than mine...

My bed is what one body man said not structually sound...it has a really bad smash dent above the fuel tank fill....The reason for the flatbed decision is because I cant find a decent short bed myself. Good luck in your search Joe.

I would of multi quoted this if I knew how, but its ironic and funny how Meggie and I were headed home from looking around at Cabelas, and I said "I love my truck" she does the same as your lovely wife Les...
