While camping in the Arizona high country, I noticed that my cap for the degas reservoir was not holding pressure. The cap was fairly new so I suspected a bad neck on the reservoir. Being close to Payson, I gave Robin a call to see if he can check the local Ford dealer and get a price on a new degas bottle. He called back with the price and offered to drive out to the woods with a new cap just to make sure that wasn't the problem before I went through the trouble to replace the reservoir.
Sure enough, the cap he brought out was different than the 'new' cap the dealer sold me back home and that did the trick. I just wanted to post a big "Thank You!" and acknowledge the help that I received by meeting nice helpful folks here on FTE.
Thanks to all for the kind words, but I didn't do anything that anyone of you wouldn't have done.
The weird thing is the cap Greg had was the same part number of the cap I have been using for the last 5+ years without a problem and the cap I picked up for him was a different part number and fit without problems. I have an early 99, Greg has a late 99.

I'm on the RHN if you have any problems of any kind while in AZ.
