Exhaust help
What are my options for exhaust for my 83 302....looking for something inexpensive that has a decent sound but isn't going to **** off the neighbors when I fire the truck up in the morning....any advice ?

How talerant are your neighbours?all my vehicles will wake my neghibours up, but they don't seem to get mad or ticked about it,Heck when I had my 75 f250 ,390 with straight pipes they never said any thing.
It all depends one what sound you want.a good turbo muffler will give I nice rumble at idle but roar when you stomp the go peddle,( ie cherry bomb turbos).I don't think you want glass packs if your concerned about what your nieghbours think.Check YouTube there are tons of examples of different exhaust systems there. Have fun.

I have always been partial to turbo mufflers, especially the Walker/Dynomax turbos. That along with a well made set of 2.25" duals with an H pipe makes for good sounding exhaust that wont **** anyone off.

You mise well just drop it off at the local exhaust shop. Around here you can get the whole exhaust done for 200 bucks.
Thats for like your standard cat back exhaust, if you want mufflers it will be around 300. But i think cat backs arent to bad, its when you remove that cat that you start pissing people off. haha
