Distributor removal????
I can't get my distributor out!! I marked it's location for when I put it back in and then took the hold down off and now I can't get it out. I'm not at tdc I just marked it where it was so I can get it back in right.
I tried to use a prybar realy gently to get it goin. It came up about 1/4in. I'm afrade of forcing it.

Judging by the amount of buildup in the valley and how perfect all the fasteners are I'm guessing she has never been apart. This is snswering all my questions about my oil problems and smoke problems. I'm replacing all the gaskets in the top end. Valve seals included. I'm having a blast doing it. I love tearing down and reasembling old stuff.
