wrong coolant, dealer reflush
Taking my 03 F350 w/6.0 back to dealer for a flush on my cooling system. They flushed it back in Nov. of 07 and used VC8 and VC7B. After reading the many threads here I looked back and noticed they used the wrong stuff. Taking it in this morning for a free do over. They should be using VC9 and gold coolant, correct?

I hassled them pretty good about the screw up and they said they would do it free.

This is 2010 right? If I'm not mistaken isn't that 3 years? Please tell me it is 2010 cause I would hate to relive those past two years. Lol

VC7-B is Motorcraft Premium Gold; They used VC-8 instead of VC-9

Agreed... It's one thing for someone to make a mistake (it happens) but it's another thing not to correct it.

Kudos for the dealership to make it right!

They flushed and replaced the coolant and it didnt cost any thing. Yes it was 07 when they did it last.
