sticky breaks
They say when you replace a front caliper, that you are supposed to replace both sides.
If you replaced one side, and are having problems....
My thoughts on replacing calipers as well is to replace the rubber lines anytime you remove a caliper and replace it.
Ya, I swear, getting an answer to your questions around here is like pulling teeth!
I thought for sure I had that in my signature
, I do now! I believe if I had the 3's I would never have made it. Next spring that trailer stays at home, no more trains!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mr. 427, I'm so happy your funny bone got tickled, best medicine there is!

But sometimes changing those rubber lines aren't that easy. With our trucks getting old the hard lines are rusty and the brake ends are so bad that you can't losen them up from the flex lines and they normally round off and your screwed. When I installed my new brake lines there wasn't a single line i was able to take off with a line wrench without stripping it and then having to us vice gripes to get them off, and my truck isn't even rusted up like some of these trucks up north. I know it would be nice to change the flex lines out every time but its sometime impossible to do.
I live in Michigan.
I am a master of rust. =)
And fluid film keeps them nice.
spray the lines down with FF and then screw them in. That film will stay in there and keep it nice. =)
