Brake pedal sometimes goes to the floor....HELP
I'm not sure where to start. Every once in a while my brake pedal will go the floor....when I release it and reapply the brakes work fine. It seems like this is a warning sign.
There is plenty of brake fluid in the master cylinder.
I've had my '89 Bronco XLT for about 2 weeks so I'm not sure of what the brake history on it is.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks - Don

Don, I have the same problem with several vehicles in the past. Installing a new or rebuilt master cylinder has always corrected it. Having the brake pedal go to the floor in an emergency, could create serious consequences. My advice would be to replace the master cylinder and bleed all brake lines. John
