Used 2005 Explorer
I am looking at a 2005 Explorer with the 4.6 V8 and 5 speed automatic. It has approximatly 105k miles. I need to purchase something to replace my totaled F150.
Is this too many miles for a used 2005 and are there any issues or problem areas I need to double check before I purchase a potential money pit? It looks pretty clean.

if the price is right, dont worry about the miles. Must be quite a few highway miles to get that. First thing i always do is change the differential and transmission oils. You might ask if that was ever done, and can they prove it ? Flushing out old crap and putting in new oil is the best preventative maint you can do.
