'06 - CEL with codes - cyl.1-8 injector circuit low. Thoughts?

2006 PSD with 93k, all stock. I have been getting an intermittent CEL light (yellow engine symbol). It usually goes off after 2-3 days. It does not seem to affect performance. I ran the codes and got this:

P0261 - cylinder 1 injector circuit low. (It also reads this for all cylinders)
P0500 - vehicle speed sensor
P0611 - fuel injector control module performance

Any thoughts?

thanks,
matt

Ficm is on its way out. Go to the tech folder for testing and possible repair. Cheapest replacement I have read about is from Swamps.

Sounds like a bad FICM. Check swamps diesel for a replacement.

thanks. Is this an easy DIY or a dealer job?

edit: I assume "ficm" stands for Fuel Injector Control Module, correct?

you can do it yourself, its not real hard. my new one can in and had old one out and new one in well under hour last week. 8mm and 10mm socket and your good to go.

dealer will have to program it to your truck tho either way

Yes it should be covered under the emissions warranty, which carries no deductible.
