Master Cylinder question

The brake fluid reservoir rests on top an aluminum body, which is then bolted to the cast iron body (closest to the firewall).

This cast iron body has 2 hoses coupled to it, 1 on each side. They are U-shaped and rigid at the point where they bolt on.
Can you tell me what these are supplying?

I am developing a hanging drip of what looks like motor oil on the bottom part of the cast iron section, and the hose on the outside seems to have a bit of play at the connection point (the 18mm nut is tight)

2005 F250 6.0

Thanks.

The cast iron piece is part of the hydro-boost unit and it uses the power steering system for its boost. That is most likely power steering fluid, Mercon V, that is leaking.

Okay. Thank you.
I thought that I was seeing a slight reddish hue to the drip, but it had no smell at all so I wasn't completely sure.
I will address this.
