Not sure how to explain it but here it goes. My truck has no mods on her. I find on the highway that I must keep correcting the steering wheel to keep it straight. Does not pull to either sides just kind of wanders slightly. Is there an adjustment in the steering box that I can do to tighten the wheel a bit?
wellcome to the club of ill handleling trucks my 03 has been that way sense new at 35000 dealer said ball joints starting to wear my wife can not drive the truck because of it right before warenty was up had 3 injectors go and new service writer they replaced steering box little better but not right wife still cant keep it in a lane ,truck has 135000 still the same thinking about replaceing everything to see if it helps
I have an '06 4x4 that only wanders when in a turn. It is almost like the power steering pump looses power. Does your wandering truck act funny when in a constant turn like on the highway?

No just when I am going straight on the highway.
I will check everything else though/
I have 142000klm about 95000 miles on her.
I had the dealership replace the steering box on mine at about 50k. It made it better but not like it should be (IMO). I have heard that re-head steering boxes are better.
my truck did it with new 235s it did it with new 285s and now it does it with 265s. I tried to tighten the box up once it helped a little but got back to the same.In turns its tight but when going straight you are back and forth on wheel to keep it in lane
