I was under the impression that all vehicles were required to have day time lights. My 2011 f250 does have any lights that come on during daylight driving unless I manually turn on my night time headlights. Is this something the dealer should program?. Thanks in advance for everyones input.
Definitely not required, but can be enabled (via body control module) by the dealership. From what I've been reading, the day time running lights are a fleet only option.

This obviously means they are not as easy to disable as in my 05 F150 where all I had to do was pull the relay? I doubt my dealer will disable them... these trucks look awesome with just the marker lights rolling down the road at dusk!
I love having DRLs. Here you're invisible without them. Ok, so everyone has them now, does that mean it's as if nobody had DRLs? I don't think so, but just to stand out, other than driving this uber beast of a truck, I'd love to find a way to have the driving/fog lamps come on with the DRLs. Is there any way to do that?
