I just realized the other day that the reverse lights on my 87 F250 come on every time I hit the brakes. It's sort of amusing (especially after dark in town) but definitely annoying to drivers behind me. Anybody else have this problem ? Any ideas on where to start looking ?
Haha trailer wiring it is. The cover for the flat-4 plug must have been shorting out. I unplugged the cap and the problems gone. And I feel like an idiot hah

Glad you got it going,,, But I doubt it was the cover, I would take a good look where the trailer wires connect to the truck wiring harness, I'm betting there is where the trouble is.. You probably wiggled the wires enough to clear the problem for the time being...
