My camping season took a weird turn when I decided to work im morth dakota over the summer. Am waiting, as I type this, to board a plane for the journey home. Have spent my summer camping in a farmers grain bin, with my tent set up in it.... And a pool table...

Similar to liquifaction...we see those in CA on fault lines...described as everything from termite mounds to mini-volcanoes (I think the "tallest one ever" was said to be over 3 feet tall).

The power windows acted up twice on me while camping. Once I just turned the ignition a tiny bit and they started working fine again, the second time I had to turn the ignition all the way to off and back on to get them to work again. Been working fine ever since though.

Our camping season is about to start--as soon as the night-time temperatures fall below 80! When I lived in Milwaukee they used to say "Hope summer comes on a weekend!".

This summer has been brutal, I hate heat. We were lucky this last camping trip the temps were high 78-79 and lows of 59-65. It was very nice! The place we go camping is impossible to get into without reservations and they have to be made a year in advance so we set our dates and thats all we get. We got out three times this summer (once a month) which seemed like plenty. Had a great time this summer besides the heat!

This'll be great when I'm burried in the Ex. Won't stink up the prepaid storage locker.

We have a few days around Labor Day. I think we will go to Branson. The trees up there make things a bit cooler. We are hoping for camping in the 90s (daytime), so that our A/C can stay well ahead of it.

Yesterday in Tulsa, I registered 109F on the way home from work. The heat will break in 3 - 4 weeks, we hope.
