After going to town for supplies yesterday I was late getting started on the well. So far I'm down to 100'. My neighbor who was helping me last weekend took off to FL. for the week, so anybody up for a learning experience? Pay is a little lacking, but there'll be brisket and my famous beans on the table later. ;-)
Guess I'll have to go back to work next week to rest after drilling this by myself.

*crickets...
Sorry Jeff, if I was a bit closer.. Did you get the well finished up?

Sorry, no updates lately. I've got a 6" bore to 200'. Wanting to use 4" casing and screens so that I can use affordable pumps, that requires an 8" bore for that. Built a 8" reamer bit to run down the hole, now just gotta get back to that project.
I had to replace the lower unit on the outboard on my pontoon boat that we use daily, decided since I haven't had a break in over a month we would go for a cruise and sip on a cold drink or two. Ended up at the sandbar and got sunburned pretty bad, so no work happened on the well this weekend. Hope to get back to it this coming Sat.
Thanks for the offer Joe, its really not that strenuous, but it is labor intensive.
Last day of July...... Jeez Louise I hope the temperature lets up soon. Maybe we can skip August and September and go straight to October?
Just going higher this week! The summer heat is one of the drawbacks to working at the park, there's nowhere to get away from it. About ready to move our table and chairs out of the shop to under the shade tree, it feels at least 10° cooler there. The only relief I usually get is either working in one of the cabins or going to town for parts.
