Post Question on electronic fuel injection

My 1986 truck with 302 EFI has not been started in five months. If this was the standard carburator I would try pooring a little gas in it as it seems to be cranking fine. Any way to "prime" with the electronic set up?

Thanks.

It has a electric pump(s). It primes itself when you turn the key to run. You might want to turn the key back and forth several times and then try to start it.

For general info, yes, you can squirt some gas into the intake just like a carbed system, but just have the throttle plate open when you do it.
