I have change the sparkplug, fuel filter, air filter and going to clean MAF sensor and the throttle boddy but I dont think that is gona change anything. So guys you what is your BEST mileage Higway ann BEST mileage City.??

21mpg on hwy sound about right, town driving depends on how many stop light you encounter and how you drive.

Hi...There are no stop lights but all short distances. and I drive to save as much gas as I can. But the strange thing about this is that my frind drives V6 and he say that his mileage in the same town as I is never less then 13 mpg and these cars are both to be 15 mpg in city so this is strange...

our 2002 gets about 20 MPG on the highway and probably 16 if your always in town. You got to do a lot of setting and idling and screwing around to get 6 MPG !

Letting the truck idle for even frequent short periods of time will kill your mileage if it's done a lot.

I looked at the air filter and it was very dirty. Pre owner told my it was new but I looked at the mantance book and saw it has not been chance for 30k mile, Anyway I replaced it with True Flow filter and it look like it is much better in town driving I have driven 25 miles and ( short distance) and the computer shows 12,5 mpg it's not GOOD but better then 6-7 mpg like before.

Also check the airbox inlet for obstructions (dirt, leaves, etc.) my V6 tends to be sensitive to air flow restrictions.
