not sure I understand that regen either..or maybe it will be standard on the lariet so they wrote like they did.

Funny how I submitted that very idea 1 1/2 year ago and again in a online chat with Chris Brewer...and now here it is.

I wish Ford would have thought of this manual regen in early February...

The way I read it it sounds like it will be an option on the XL and XLT models yet standard on Lariat and above. I hope this would become a flash upgrade. Any reason they wouldn't be able to do this to earlier models?

One nice item on this list IMHO is the monotone leather seats. It does appear that Ford is listening. Now, if they could just knock off the rest of the items in the 2012 wish list thread, that would be terrific! :-)

I actually liked the two tone black leather.

I sure would like to be able to manually initiate a regen; I've posted previously it would be nice if they would indicate the % restricted, used, etc. and have a manual regen available. Too many times I get off of interstate and it decides to regen; or the worse is I have it start regen right when I pull out with the RV (in city or rural hilly lake country roads).

As part of my orginal recommendation I had asked for a count down clock for lack of a better term

Much like miles to empty format.

If the regen actions were not taken by xxx miles/hours then the pcm would take over.

This maybe the closest we will ever get it it.

The 6.4 always had a regen at every 3701 miles whether you knew it or not.
