Electric Start?

I've been looking around about electric start on my 04 f250. I have to get up early for work every morning and I only live 5min away but I like to warm my truck up in our -30 winters before I leave but I like all the sleep I can get too. Can this been done to work with the glow plugs and such? Thanks for any help in advanced....

a ceramic heater makes an excellent safe car warmer. prob best to have 2 timers to handle the block heater and the car warmer. if you start with a warm cab it will prob stay warm til the engine is putting out heat. plus no chipping snow and ice off the windows and no fogging inside. the ceramic is safe because the element can only come up to a certain temp(low enough not to melt or burn stuff). due to the materials the elements resistance increases as it warms up which reduces the flow of electricity. the only way it can fail is if it burned out in which case your cab would be cold.

Plenty of aftermarket remote start kits that will work with diesels. They cycle the glow plugs before starting. Around $70.00, more if you want an eleborate alarm system as well.
Ford do a kit as well.
