HPOP FITTING

Does anyone know where I could get a fitting for the outlet of the HPOP on the drivers side of the truck? My buddy had his blow out of the HPOP Saturday when we were towing the boat home. He said that the threads were jacked up on the fitting, so hopefully a new fitting will get it rolling again. Thanks for the help.

Ben, get ahold of Bob at Dieselorings.com or Joey at Terminator Engineering. Either one can help you, but if the fitting is stripped out of the pump body I don't think I would try reseating another one.

what is the other option? New pump? What are the risk of trying to get one back in there? I know it may blow out again but its worth a shot to save 500 bones. Is there any other damage he should be concerned about causing by trying to reseat it? Thanks for the help.

Just to make sure that we are both talking about the same thing. Is this the fitting for the line to the heads or the "non-servicable" plug?

Line to the head, one of the fitting blew out of the pump completely.

Ben, as I said on the phone, I would say that you are pretty well scr*wed unless Joey has a spare body that he could use your internals and do a pump mod on.

Since that fitting can see anywhere from 2800-3500 PSI, if the pump body threads are tore out, a new fitting will never hold ..... never.
