Just had to throw the last one for kicks. Looks like it has had it days. But maybe some good ole 7.3 Lover may have some compassion for her and restore her.

Well, i was looking around last night and found this...

2001 Ford F350 POWERSTROKE MAKE OFFER!

I believe this may have a GPR issue, or else something simple the good people on here can get rolling really simply...

Could be simple or need a new motor worse case. IDK if I would even deal with that guy from his ad. It would be fun to mess with him though.

Grant and Gregg, ya'll are a hoot...it looks like a decent truck, 01 7.3 350 fat azz...for $4250 OBO...hell, that ain't bad...i really doubt it needs a motor...if it's turning over but not starting, it's probably the GPR or IDM, or something silly...lets not beat the poor guy down so bad...

I'll just say that if Rick, Wilson, Jim, and myself could get the loot together, i would make him an offer and proudly bring that truck home...hell, if i took a GPR with me and swapped it out and the truck cranked right up, it would really pizz that owner off...lol...

Here is the add:

Quit Kicking the tires off of it. DO NOT COME AND LOOK UNLESS YOU BRING CASH. I dont want to trade it for a goat or calf! I Damn sure dont want the money next week....ITS ALL JUST TALK TILL I GET THE MONEY IN MY HAND!! FIRST COME FIRST SERVE

AND IM NOT GIVING IT AWAY SO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU CAN STICK UR LOW BALL OFFERS!!
PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE....CASH ALWAYS TALKS

I am NOT gonna diagnose, or troubleshoot it...IT CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START....THATS IT!!!

I am at the shop,CALL ANYTIME truck is at the shop, so call early, we close at 6pm

2001 Ford Powerstroke Deisel. 290000 miles. does not run. cranks, but will not start. I have bought another gas truck. dont have money to fix. come make an offer n tow it home. I ran it through the auction, but it wouldnt start, so it was a no sale. PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE!! CASH N CARRY! My number 679-7515

I would not pay that much for a truck that is not running. I think there is more to the story than he is telling. He sent it to a auction and did not sell ? How is the transmission? I would low ball the heck out of this guy. Salvage might be a good price on it. What is the area code there. I'll call and give him my two cents. lol..

Grant, If a car will not start at a auction they will not sell it unless the seller wants to put it in the salavage sale, that is if the auction has a salvage sale...I know this for a fact in that I'm was a apprentice auctioneer, have seen it happen on several occassions.
