I dont think the price is that far off from they are going for down here. I just did a generic KBB (didn't know your options) on it and I came up with $15k.
when you have to finance your painted into a corner and yah you'll pay a bit more (pardon the pun)
, but we have all been there a time or two.
Heck, mine KBB'd at $12, I payed $8,000 cash and just sank (and I do mean sank) $2500 for a trans.
I found my truck on CL, it posted at 9pm, I called at 8am the next morning, and the owner said he was getting calls till 10:30 pm about it. I was the first of 7 or 8 guys coming to look at it that day, but I bought it first.
Was he BS'ing me...who knows. All I know is I got the truck I wanted for a fair price and I'm happy.

Damnit Frank...you're right...i drove to the dealers at 3 am this morning cause i couldn't sleep...PMS has got me REALLY bad...when i got home, my wife just looked at me and said, "you went to look at the truck didn't you?"...i just smiled...the saddest part, or sweetest part was my little girl, she cried when i sold Bit Mo' #1, her little six year old face lit up when i showed her the pics on my phone of it, she TOLD me i have to put "Hillbilly Bone" on the radio when i pick her up from school tommorrow....that's my little redneck girl thar...her yankee momma just cain't stand it....

Yeah Jeff, i sold the whistler back in May...stupidity set in...i pretty much gave it away too...bought this POS Olds Aurora that has sunk my azz, i got a good job locally instead of sucking sand in the desert, and have been living for the past 3 months with PSD envy...i'm solving that crap tommorrow...it just felt right being back above the traffic instead of below it in the 4 door Corvette...
...it was funny, if i got within 20 feet of the car in front of me, they damn well MOVED....

After all the hoops were jumped through...in the end, ONE man had the only power that mattered...and it wasn't me...I WAS TOLD NO...my PMS will not be satisfied for awhile yet...in the end, my credit sux, and i didn't have enough down to satisfy the lender...but, but, but nothing...give up more loot or do without...so, i'm doing without...All i could do was shake my head...got everybody all hyped up in my house for nothing...not a good day for me...apologies for the letdown guys...
My heads held high, and i've decided not to settle for something i do not want, and will wait...damnit, yet another PSD pulls into the campground as i type this...grrrrrrrrrrr....
