the y pipe was exactly what i was worried about looking at the moog design.........
Just undo the 2 bolts holding the upper mount.
Slip the mount onto the top stud, fish the link into place, rebolt the upper mount back onto the frame then tighten your upper and lower nuts onto the MOOG studs thru the frame (upper) and the sway bar (lower).
Not an issue, just different.
also did you torque everything up evenly? bolts on the mount to frame and end links to mounts? is there a recommended torque on these?
I didn't find the torque specs - still looking.
I had to use a pipe on my breaker bar for the link end bolts, so I used it the same way to tighten.
The bolts on the upper frame mount came off with brute force on the 1/2" ratchet, put it back on the same as well. I plan on undoing and retightening when I find specs, but for now I drive 8 miles a day and not over 40mph so no biggie for the short term.
Are you talking about the grease zerk fittings? They thread into the small hole on the back of each ball joint.
could be that. those little holes look like they have threads? do i need to put em in? i saw some install photos where it didnt look like they were screwed in?
No threads in those holes - be careful when you screw them in, make sure they're straight and don't strip.
Yes you should put them in, kind of defeats the purpose of having greaseable joints. I guess if you don't plan on maintaining them then you'd have to plug the small hole in the end caps.
3/8 wrench I think, I would put them in.

got it thx, i put em in. drivers side done.........
also i had a question on torque earlier. i used what was in the moog instructions of 85 ft lbs and also used a little red locktite.
Instructions? You mean that paper inside the box? Funny how I seem to miss that all the time. Always telling my son, "If you have to read instructions, the engineer only got 50% on his final exam". We need a Homer "doh!" face here...
