Rear End Grabbing

Bought my second Exc which is 2000 with 36,000 miles. It sat for years with limited use> Rear end was really bad when trying to turn so we drove it about 2000 miles which helped a lot then we changed rear end grease and added the ford friction reducer>
This also helped but it still grabs when turning to the right and is much worse when towing or when on an incline. Is this damaging the cluthes or what should i do? Thanks for thoughts!

Sounds like it needs more friction modifier.

Yes, it is needed for rear ends with clutches in them if the clutches chatter. Some oil already contains it and it won't hurt to use it if you don't have LS clutches but it might hurt your wallet a little. It makes oil more slippery. Chatter is the grabbing and releasing of two objects in rapid succession which produces noise under the right conditions such as with a violin.
