Hello. I am the new proud owner of a 2002 Excursion. I am installing a Plantdrive Vegetable Oil burning system and am looking for an auxiliary fuel tank. I know that dinofuelalternatives.com used to sell sweet ones but they have since gone out of business and the new owner doesn't have tanks listed on his site and hasn't returned my call yet.
I searched these forums and found mention of someone Cory(Ziggy) that had one but couldn't find him under Cory or Ziggy in the membership list.
I would appreciate some ideas on where to look or some options for tanks.
Thanks all.

Hey I saw your message, feel free to PM me your email address if you want to discuss more.
I have the 40gal tank that RDS made for Dino Fuel Alternatives, which is now under new ownership and is called Bio Fuels Technologies. They have said they'll be offering the Excursion tank again at some point in the future, but no solid dates yet, as they're still in the process of restructuring.
My tank fits the driver's side frame rail, and is fed by a filler tube that goes through the rear door jamb.
Some of the tanks had issues with the mounting flanges (RDS made them wrong), but were later resolved. I went a head and added straps after my flanges failed, and think all underbelly tanks should have straps anyway. Luckily mine didn't damage the tank at all.
If you're antsy to get up and running on WVO, you could always do a small tank in the cargo area and then stuck the underbelly one on later when they come available.
let me know if you have any more specific questions about mine
I converted an EX for a friend last year. I just made a dummy tank out of cardboard that would fit and hold about 20gal. I took the model to a local custom shop and they welded me up a tank out of steel. I wanted steel for diesel because it is stronger and wont have tabs breaking etc.
Is a F350/F450.... the same frame under excursion?
[QUOTE=VegiePower;9240598]I have an email into them but it doesn't look like there is an excursion frame rail tank....
I am looking at a F350 pickup with frame rail mounted tank,
I have about the same space under my Ex.
And if I got two of them.... maybe 135-150gals.
No one has been able to answer this question.....
