Along the rear bottom seam? That's not uncommon, you can fix that when you take the bed off.

the only ruat ive seen on these are primarily along the putside fenderwells

i have rust on my bed rails on the inside (damn plasit bedliners) so im guessing you are planning a bed resto? have you pulled your bed yet?

not yet, i plan on doing that this spring so i have more time, with school starting next week my time is going to be limted, im just grinding of all of the inner fenderweel rust and welding it back on, i plan on doing the lower cab and upper end of the bed this spring.

My 1992 f150 super cab has eight bolts. Autozone.com should give you a diagram of your attach to frame. i think their are four or five cross members it bolts to.

your off to a big project as soon as you take that bed off im also 15 and got a 91 f150 and decided to take the bed off i torched the bolts unhook tailights and so on and moved it with me and my grandfather it has been a never ending project i planed on doing the same just repair a little rust spots and clean and paint and that was it to the whole truck well now im about 3000 in just parts and hundreds of hours of labor becasue i just keep wanting to do more and more i reconmed taking the bed off it makes everything so so much easier to do no crawling underneath it or any of that bull**** so have fun with that soon to be resto project lol
