if you have the toolbox in the bed side it has some bolts and screws that i think you have to take out, as well on mine at least there are two bolts i found in the back that are under the floor attaching to the bumper that you cannot see from the outside. i think this applies to yours as well. mine has had some "farmer" repairs and that could be where these bolts come from.
I have found that an air wrench, and someone standing on the carrage bolt to keep it from spinning is about the best method short of the blue tip wrench or saws all. 8 bolts for the long bed and 6 for the short. Once they spin in the hole you might as well stop wrenching them. IMHO
Once bolt starts spinning found a 41/2" grinder w/ cut-off disc works. When it really gets serious, have used cutting torch. Heating nut and striking w/ heavy duty hammer, rather than using the oxygen for cutting may be able to avoid heating frame too much. Came across tool box/storage compartment in a salvage yard and only had a chisel available. Few blows with sharp chisel was able to drive the nut off. Have removed by carefully grinding head using 41/2" grinder w/ grinding wheel until able to drive the bolt thru, even using care still will be couple slips.
I've had it I think the angle grinder with the cut off wheel is my only option at this point,I have a new bed so not to worried about fubaring anything
