when i had my 92 reg cab 5speed i has one of these screwed to the floor just infront of the seat. they held drinks great and are adjustable from can to large slurpee cup size. and its like $8 at walmart here Hopkins/Twin cup holder (AZSMT) | Cup Holder and Mugs | AutoZone.com
yea I was thinking of something like this, at least the ones I seen at pep boys have the slits for the pegs on the benches, and look to fit just right and they even have them in the tan for my trucks interior which I really like
Now that I think about It more I had the factory cupholders on the front of the seat but they didn't hold cups worth a &$#^ so I screwed the adjustable one on the top of it
yea the factory ones dont really do much, now that most places have these "travel" cups with the funky bases...but for a short term fix they are ok for the most part...
4sabre i want your bench seat! I was thinking about taking the fold down center console and cutting holes in it and mounting cup holders in it. but i do like the cup holders near the shifter.
All the ones in the auto parts stores I went to Auto zone, CAP, Napa, and the other one there cant think of its name. Were too small for my taste. Would be good for the floor though.
well thats partly where I want to keep it, on the floor so I don't need gigantic I just need it to work properly...need to run up to pep boys and test fit one to make sure it sits proper before I buy it...oi...good thing I can just return them if needed...if not im sure AZ has them still...
Jaime,
Do you still have the Tan Cup Holder?
I can't find one on e-bay or anywhere.
Tired of wearing my coffee!!!
Jeff
Jeff, Yes I do, I just don't have it with me, i would need to get it from my parents house but I should still have it

I seriously think I will build a walnut cup holder/console to straddle the shifter. With a cupholder on either side of the trans hump.....Really see no other neat way to add anything without being in the way of something on the dash or doors.
I have one that sits on the middle of my seat, havent screwed it down or nothing, it works well

My 93 5spd has one in it. Sits a little low and forward for me. I bought a center console that sits on the seat, has a couple cupholders and gives me somewhere to stick all my junk.
most benches for our trucks depending on the truck may or may not have the notches/pegs
those are similar to what I use my self, especially when boating LOL works wonders I love my RAM Mount items, use there stuff in my truck, my parents car and brothers car, my buddies car and on my motor bike...they do make some good products!

ive seen one or the other, mostly its XLT but I have seen some XL with the pegs, so i think it may have been an option type thing...
