Okay so I've only seen one person post they got a re-flash, this was surprisingly someone from Canada (BC I think but can't remember).

Has anyone even gotten a letter yet?

I've got a truck pull Friday night and I'm biting my nails hoping I can get it flashed but prolly ain't going to happen. I'm real curious about how this new truck will pull against the other "street stock" trucks.

 

The flash for existing trucks won't be available until Aug 31st.

 

but there is this one guy from Canada that says he has it...

 

For a moment the service manager at the dealership I go to thought he could do it at that time (couple of days ago) but he couldn't find the authorization. He did take my phone number and will call as soon as he can install it.

 

As of this AM the FSA VIN list for this CSP has yet to be released in the US or Canada. This will be the indication that Ford is ready to roll with the program since dealers will need the FSA VIN list to determine eligibility and to make warranty claims...

 

Seems detailed, do you work at the Dealership or Ford? Oooh, you may not want to divulge that on the board. Just lay low.

Curious what is FSA (Ford Sales Account) probably not that.

Make sure you let us know how the pull goes - I'm really anxious to see how the truck does. A video would be awesome!

 

I'm still deciding if I want the reflash or not. My truck is running a hell of a lot better then my 6.4 ever did, and I don't pull anything that heavy. I don't really need the extra HP and torque but the 2% better MPG is tempting.

 

Oooh you know you can't resist a free tune! One that is backed by a Ford warranty! Hahahahaa. In what ways does your new truck run better than the 6.4. I rode in my buddies 6.7 and it seemed great... the tranny was awesome. However, in another year from now I will need some good reasons to justify another trade upgrade haha.
