Currently porting/reworking my Edelbrock EFI upper intake.
1. TB opening to plenum splitter smoothing and knife-edging of the trailing edge for smoother flow.
2. Adding a large radius to the primary opening to plenum edges to smooth airflow as it transitions and reduce unwanted turbulence. This means higher air flow and lower valve lift = low end torque.
3. Enlargement of primary tube entryways, this means that the taper as it reaches the head, is there....this means increase in air velocity as the air progresses through the intake.
To do:
1. Polish the interior of the intake surfaces, this will reduce carbon and sludge buildup in the intake and make it easier to clean when it does. Since it is a dry intake, it doesn't matter of the ports are sanded and polished smooth in the plenum and upper primary areas.
2. finish the lower intake and port match it to the heads.
