Just my advice, take it slow and do a lot of research to determine exactly what you are looking for. Ask yourself what am I going to use this truck for? What features are most important to me? And....most importantly how much money do you have to spend on the truck after you buy it? Are you mechanically inclined or do you have access to friends/family that are mechanically inclined? I love old Ford trucks but it usually takes money and time to get a 30 plus year old vehicle up to snuff for daily driving. There are plenty of solid old Ford trucks in your area (I just checked Craigslist in GA and they seem to be fairly abundant). # one thing is make sure you know exactly what you are getting into and what you are buying and it will make for a great experience. Best of luck and please update us with your hunt/progress. Take care - James. I would also advise you join your local FTE chapter and meet up with some of the guys. Utilize their friendship and knowledge in order to make the best decision for yourself.
