X-2 check summit out for cam specs , the E 303 is more of a mustang type cam but will work in a light truck , i use the E 303 with 1.72 RR but its in a very light 2wd reg cab SB , you need mass air & a custom tune or custom chip to make this cam work good ....Lew

I have a trick flow stage 1 cam in my 94.. It's similar to the e303 but has better rpm range 2,000 to 5,500 so u don't really lose any torque

i do have maf and 3.90 gears. i am hoping with the maf i will have a better selection of cams than with sd. the cam r.p.m.s. will start at 1200-1500 and stop at 5000-5200. this is my daily driver and i want to have some fun from time to time. there are some people that say my truck is a dog so i want to give it some kick. any cams i should look at like isky, lunati, howards, comp cams. what are you guys using right now. hey nintey4f150 how do like that cam your using and what gears you runnin and you got a chip for that cam and lew52 how do you like that cam. do you have a chip or custom tune for your ride and conanski hows that cam runnin with your computer............thanks for the feed back guys.................

That is pretty close to the stock operating range so you will want to be conservative with the cam. The one I have works pretty good, the motor certainly makes a lot more power than stock but it's still quite weak below 3000rpm compared to my 5.8, if you really want impressive low rpm power you should be thinking about a 5.8 swap. For the 5.0 the Comp 35-320-8 is a better option IMO, it's the same as the 35-349-8 but with less lobe seperation so it makes more torque.
