I'm building a 302 for an 87 t-bird and I plan on using the E-303 cam. My question is can you use the stock valve springs with this cam? If not what pressure is needed for the E-303.
BTW it is a factory roller block
While your here give me your input on using the E-303 for this setup.
86 block
10 to 1 comp
high volume oil pump
weiand stealth intake
4 bbl carb (holley or edelbrock)
double roller chain
E7TE heads with valves 1.9I 1.6E
DUI distributor
this will be in an 87 t-bird with aod tranny and around 4.11 gears. what I want is a daily driver with mild performance.
if your highest lift is not over .500 then you can use the cam. but it would be a good idea anyway to get double springs so that you won't have valve float.
