smogger cam?
i have been reading the topics about how ford retarded the cam timing to pass the smog laws, i was wondering if i replace the timing sprocket and chain and 0 in the cam will my truck still pass smog. its a 77 460 and an original califoria truck with matching #s. i have half a decade to left to smog my truck so anything that will help make power but still pass smog is relief.

If the rest of the engine is burning clean, in tune, and all that good stuff, then yes.. it should still pass smog.. Just dont TELL them you have a 0degree cam gear on it.
