I think that looks good. I have a brake controller for towing mounted in that spot. I want a CB Radio in my truck. You never know when it might come in handy. Nowadays, with the cell phone, I'm sure CB's aren't as popular as they use to be. Good luck with your new CB.

Thats where my brake controller was, Im gonna build a bracket to mount it right under the cb radio, i know notta lot of people use cb now, but on the farm its easier and cheaper to use them. and thnx!
Thanks man! your truck looks good! i think im gonna go with the 102inch steel wip in the center. still thinking bout your set up. i will post a picture of my cb radio setup.
Now Remember......The Antenna on the left is for my CB ( Drivers Side ).......The other antenna, On the Right is for my Scanner......
I have the magnet mounted Wilson 5000 on the roof with a stupid huge long whip. I like this, as I can remove the whip and cap off the magnet when I am not using it. The only down fall is storing the long whip and not trashing it.
I also have the old school Cobra LTD Classic, I love that unit and have had them in every vehicle I own. I have also boosted it up a tad and mounted it on a hump mount system that has built in external speaker and cup holders.
I bought it from a dude on ebay. I forget what it cost but around 100$ or so and I could pick the color I wanted. This one I think matched the best too.
i ran dual whips on my truck. I found a mount on some online CB shop thats meant to go in a door channel. but i used them to go under my tonneau cover. One of my whips is a dummy with a short lead running into the bed, so they dont distort each other.
